We know that the Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 has visited the FCC recently, and here the user manual has followed suit, mentioning all the important details such as a 3-inch HVGA display, a 3.2-megapixel camera, A-GPS navigation support, Wi-Fi connectivity, 128 MB of internal memory, a 600MHz processor and Android 1.6 with Sony Ericsson’s UX user interface. Android 1.6, eh? Isn’t that way, way behind the times? Well, hopefully an update will be released sooner rather than later otherwise it will definitely affect the purchase decision of more seasoned smartphone users out there. Since the Xperia X8 will support both the 850MHz and 1900MHz 3G HSPA bands, it more or less indicates that AT&T will most probably be the carrier offering said device.
