Samsung Galaxy S Bug Could Reset The Phone When Connected To A PC
A rather strange bug has been reported for the Samsung Galaxy S, one that might be quite dangerous. It seems that under some circumstances when the Samsung Galaxy S is connected to a PC via the Kies utility, it may cause an auto-reset of the device, something which is obviously undesirable. This happens when the product contains files with an extension that is longer than 16 characters. Deleting these files will prevent the problem from happening, but it’s scary to hear of the possibility anyways. Samsung is already working on a fix for the situation, but in the meantime, you might want to be careful when hooking your Galaxy S up to your PC.
