Did you know that video game consoles are banned in China (officially speaking, of course, but you can still pick one up via the gray market)? This means a good 1 billion plus people won’t be able to get hold of the Xbox 360 as well as the upcoming Kinect system when it rolls out. With necessity being the mother of all invention, a company from China aims to roll out the eBox gaming console that is controller-free, which could very well be a clone of the Kinect as it also relies on a webcam-type device. No idea on how accurate it is yet or whether it will go one up by recognizing American Sign Language, but we do know that it will come bundled with around 30 games or so.
