If the latest firmware update for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 didn’t disappoint you by not bumping the version up to Android 2.x, and leaving the device running the old Android 1.6 version, a rather irritating Wi-Fi bug probably will. The bug seems to have appeared in the latest firmware, and when you’re in an area with poor cellular reception that causes the signal to drop to zero and bounce back, it seems that such a situation will cause the Wi-Fi on the phone to turn itself off. Such a bug is already irritating enough as it is, but if you factor in the scenario that you’re probably using Wi-Fi because the cellular signal is low, that just makes this all the more irritating. Check out a video demonstrating this bug after the jump.
