iPad gets wooden enclosure, turns into TV

Case in point, the iPad you see here has been specially placed to dock within an old-school cathode-ray (CRT) television. Not only that, it will hark back to the 1980s by offering a screensaver that depicts – you’ve guessed it, that of grainy TV snow. This is definitely a living room showpiece if you decide to embark on a similar journey for yourself, but we think it is a waste of an iPad that could otherwise be used for something else. Perhaps in such a position, you can always stream video from it to make you feel as though you were a small kid again, watching TV at your grandparents’.
