HTC’s EVO 4G is not without its own set of problems, and now reports are going around that some users are having trouble charging the device via the microUSB port. According to complaints, the device will either not be able to be charged or will charge intermittently when plugged into a microUSB port, which is quite a serious issue, since a phone with an empty battery is pretty much useless. Folks who have taken their devices to Sprint have apparently had mixed luck getting the device replaced. That being said, a HTC spokesperson has responded to the issue, claiming that the number of affected devices seems to be small, and the problem will be covered under the one-year warranty as long as the issue was not caused by customer misuse.
