Remember the enTourage eDGe dualbook that was a pretty interesting sight when we first caught hold of it at CES earlier this year? Well, the device hasn’t exactly lit up the market as brightly as the Apple iPad did, but it isn’t exactly a pushover either, with its own set of fans. For the few of you out there who actually use an enTourage eDGe daily and wish you had more control over the device, you’ll be pleased to know that it has been rooted, and you won’t have any sweaty palms during the process. Why do we say that? No exploit or hack was required, since the team who rooted it managed to decipher the developer’s debug password while using it to enable adb – which is the equivalent to runn it as root. This move has opened up the eDGe to developers, allowing the debug bridge while enabling root apps to be used.
