Dell’s Inspiron M101z laptop has started to ship, where it will offer a performance that betrays its rather diminutive outlook. Merging both form and function, this AMD Athlon II Neo Mobile-powered laptop will come with integrated ATi graphics, capable of hitting up to 6 hours of operation using a standard 6-cell rechargeable battery. Depending on your needs, the M101z will be configured differently, although a base price point of $449 is where it all begins, where it will be accompanied by a one-year limited warranty, alongside the Syncables Desktop software that makes it a snap to synchronize photos, music, video and data with a primary computer. You can choose from Clear Black, Peacock Blue and Tomato Red with Jax pattern, and Promise Pink with DigiPais pattern before confirming your purchase to express your individuality. Nice to see it feature Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity to remain future proof in some ways, while the option to include mobile broadband ensures you need not be at the mercy of public Wi-Fi network availability any more. Other hardware specifications are available after the jump. Strangely enough, the M101z has not turned up on the US Dell website yet. [Press Release]
