Many folks out there are looking forward to some new DSLRs from Canon, and we may not have to wait too much longer to see these cameras. Canon Poland has reportedly sent out invitations for an August 26th event that’s related to its new flagship DSLR. While it wasn’t specifically mentioned which camera would be announced, the smart money will be on the EOS 60D and EOS 1Ds Mark IV. Word is also out that some folks have caught sight of a pre-production unit of the upcoming 60D in a presentation. While the entire specifications of the 60D weren’t released in the presentation, the camera will apparently sport an 18-megapixel sensor, tilting display, and has been optimized for video. With August 26th not too far off, hopefully the suspense won’t kill us.
