In line with earlier reports, Verizon is set to launch its commercial 4G LTE network in selected cities by November 15th. Details are still quite sketchy, but there should be two data cards that will be offered when the service goes live, with one of them probably being the LG VL600 USB modem. It was previously speculated that the deployment would cover 25 markets, but now it seems that coverage will be available in over 30 markets across the country, and will include popular locations such as New York, LA, and ten airports. It wasn’t mentioned if Verizon has any plans for a 4G phone just yet, but seeing how well Sprint’s EVO 4G is doing at the moment, maybe Verizon will consider it.
