We’re quite sure that someday in the future, robots will have taken over ourjobs. Now some smart folks have decided to install a heat, voice, and motion detecting surveillance robot with guns in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) that separates the North and South Korea. This $330,000 dollars unit will be deployed in the central section of the DMZ and is currently viewed as a test to determine the practicality of border equipment. The gun and 40mm automatic grenade launcher will make it much more interesting, and very dangerous. It’s sounds quite scary, and is certainly a robot that we’d want to have on our side instead of against us.
