The Renault DeZir concept car points toward a brand new styling direction from the French automobile manufacturer, boasting a bright red finish that sends the pulses racing. Being a concept, why not throw caution to the wind, and have this coupe powered by a 24 kilowatt-hour lithium ion battery pack which is currently seeing action in the Nissan Leaf? Boasting a similar driving range of 100 miles, this concept was specially configured for Quick Drop exchanges. A 110 kilowatt electric motor will provide the right propulsion to spin the rear wheels, letting it hit 60mph from a standing start within five seconds. For added protection, Kevlar body panels are wrapped around a steel tube frame chassis while double wishbones are present at all four corners. This is one concept we hope to see manufactured.
