The price of Microsoft’s Kinect motion-sensing controller has long be rumored to be $149.99, and now Microsoft has officially confirmed that the price will be listed at $149.99. Taking things one step further, the company also announced a new Xbox 360 4GB console that will offer a sleek new design, Wireless N, 4GB of internal flash memory, touch-sensitive buttons and a black matte finish. The Xbox 360 console will be bundled with Kinect Adventures for $299.99, though you’ll be able to skimp on a few bucks and get the console itself for $199.99 if you so wish. Shipping will begin on August 3rd.
