Texas Instruments (TI) has unveiled its Blaze tablet design, aimed at developers. This design offers its 1GHz OMAP4 chip, 10-inch multi-touch display, HDMI video output, SD card slot, USB, accelerometer, gyroscope, and a modular design that allows additional features to be added to it. Options include an external DLP pico projector, camera modules, 3G radio, FM radio, GPS and Wi-Fi. This reference tablet also offers 1GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board flash memory. Developers will be able to pick up the Blaze tablet by the end of August, though a price wasn’t given. With this spur better apps for tablet devices?
