The recently concluded Computex exhibition in Taipei saw SoundGraph roll out their range of FingerVU touch-type USB monitors, with the FingerVU 895S being the latest model that sports an 8.9″ LCD display with 1,024 x 600 resolution. What makes these different from typical auxiliary USB monitors would be the incorporation of independent touch input control technology that was developed by SoundGraph, where they do not affect any tasks performed on the main monitor and vice versa. This allows the FingerVU series models to play back media including music, videos, photos, and YouTube videos, search news, weather or time, not to mention the ability to leave notes similar to a computer. It will play nice with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems, working well on regular desktop computers as well as notebooks without missing a beat.
