The Nintendo Virtual Boy was one of the more ill-fated consoles to come out of Nintendo’s stables (a rare occurence, we might add), as that was a migraine-inducing system that was clearly ahead of its time in terms of concept, but poor in execution since existing technology then could not convey what the hardware and software developers wanted to the gamer. With the Nintendo 3DS being lined up for a release next year, we’re stoked that 3D gaming has gone not only mainstream but portable, which means the folks over at Nintendo can dig up their old Virtual Boy documentation to include similar warning messages for the 3DS handheld whenever you boot it up – you know, disclaimers on Nintendo’s part and all.
