Most folks have a strong dislike for wires, and the less we see of them, the better. Now Mercedes and Kleer has formed a partnership to equip the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-class and S-Class models with Kleer’s proprietary, lower-power, CD-quality digital wireless audio emitted from a pair of video screens behind the front seats. With that in place, occupants wearing the Kleer headphones provided by Mercedes (or other compatible headphones) will be able to select which audio stream their headphones will receive without interfering with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi devices. Pretty nifty, and if it means less wires, that’s great.
