It seems that the Acer Aspire One 532G netbook has been cancelled, no thanks to technical problems that translated to Acer being unable to deliver said netbook to the market on time, while NVIDIA failed on the performance front. Of course, no further details are available at the moment, but it doesn’t really make much sense when you think about it. After all, aren’t many other netbook manufacturers out there rolling out their 10″ models without running into major problems? Of course, Murphy could strike at any time, which means if this is all true for Acer, they would have conceded an early defeat to Asus where ION-powered netbooks are concerned.
