Inspired Instruments has rolled out the You Rock Guitar which is actually a digital/MIDI guitar that offers a fairly realistic playing experience, where this is made possible courtesy of an actual set of ’strings’ that sport adjustable tension, not to mention a rubber touch-sensitive fret board. There is also a set of interface buttons and a small LCD display located on the side which enables you to select from 50 different string tunings and sounds, alongside a slew of playing modes including one for learning which will mute the guitar should you play the wrong note by accident. This could also be a MIDI alternative for professional guitar players, since it touts no perceptible delay or latency if performs as claimed.
