Vodafone UK will not be offering unlimited data for their customers anymore from the first of next month onwards after changing conditions on charges for data usage over cellphones. Currently, all handsets save for the iPhone and Nexus One are able to enjoy a 500MB Fair Use data package for £5 monthly, but you could surpass that amount without being charged any extra. This benelovence from Vodafone UK will be removed once the calendar touches June 1, 2010, since they will bill you another £5 for the next 500MB of Internet use. As a point of comparison, T-Mobile offers 3GB data with all Android smartphones for free as part of the package. Guess customers will definitely be upset with this news!
