Orange of UK has just announced its pricing for the iPad Wi-Fi as well as the iPad 3G, where the latter seems to lean towards a Pay As You Go (PAYG) model. It seems that for each MB consumed, you will be charged 5 pence, which means the basic 250MB plan will cost £12.50 per month. This is around £2.50 more expensive monthly compared to what AT&T are charging US customers, albeit after currency conversion. Apart from that, Orange will also offer an unlimited data deal for the iPad that costs £40 monthly, which should be a much better idea if you’re going to be a heavy data user. What do you think Vodafone and O2 will serve up in order to remain competitive?
