You might have bought the latest tiny MP3 player in the market, only to find that you can’t stand using it because it’s hard to control due to its size. What the folks over at the Carnegie Mellon University are exploring with their Minput project might be able to solve your woes. The project explores the possibility of using optical sensors to allow small devices to function as mice. So instead of having to poke those tiny buttons on your MP3 player with a toothpick, you could instead move the MP3 player around the table like a mouse, scrolling vertically or horizontally. Check out a video of it in action after the jump.
