Microvision has rolled up their sleeves and can’t wait to show off their 720p HD ready laser pico projector at The Society For Information Display annual conference which will be held from May 25 to 27, at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Washington. This will be the first laser pico projector of its kind that offers new perofrmance levels without sacrificing on the pico projector idea of being highly mobile and portable. You get various functions such as infinite focus, a wide throw angle that offers an immersive visual experience, superior brightness uniformity, high optical efficiency resulting in low power requirements, a 5,000:1 contrast ratio and vivid colors of up to 200% greater than standard broadcast television. No idea on how it looks like nor its pricing structure, but hopefully it will have a longer lasting battery life instead of a mere 2 hours as with most other pico projectors. [Press Release]
