Just when you thought that technology involving miniaturization cannot get any smaller, along comes the Imogen Studio Cinema Stick HD miniature media player that is roughly the size of your regular USB flash drive (circa 2000), where it can send video to mini-HDMI, while a USB 2.0 connector lets you fill up its 4GB of internal flash memory with videos or music. Not only that, you can further augment the amount of storage space simply by slotting in a microSDHC memory card, upping the ante to 36GB in total. The Imogen Studio Cinema Stick is compatible with any HDTV display which supports mini-HDMI. No idea on whether it is powered when plugged in via USB, or gets its juice from the HDMI interface. Hopefully more details on this nifty device will be revealed soon enough.
