Verizon Wireless and LG has teamed up to bring the LG Fathom to the masses from May 27th onwards, where this smartphone is a rarity these days since it sides with the Windows Mobile camp. It comes in a sleek slate blue case that is perfect for everyday use, looking serious enough at the office and yet fun when you’re going to let your hair down after work. There is a dedicated task manager key for quick access to mobile Task Manager, while you can synchronize with your Outlook, Office and contents from Microsoft Exchange Server in a jiffy to remain connected and up-to-date at all times. Expect to fork out $149.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement for the LG Fathom if you dig it. As things are at the moment, it looks more likely that folks will hold out for either the new iPhone 4G or pick up an Android phone as the latter market gains even more momentum. Specifications and features of the LG Fathom are in the extended post. [Press Release]
