A first glance at the iiView M1Touch does resemble the spawn between an Apple iPad and iPod touch/iPhone, don’t you think? This could very well result in Apple’s legal eagles swoop down on them, as this $510 device will not run on the iPhone OS, but will instead tote Windows 7 alongside an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor to keep things running fine and smooth within. You get a 10.1″ multitouch capable display at 1,024 x 600 resolution, coupled with 2GB RAM and a 250GB hard drive. Other hardware specifications just in case you love making comparisons would include a built-in webcam, USB connectivity and a 4-in-1 memory card reader for expansion options. The battery life could be a cause for concern though, maxing out at 3 hours which is clearly unacceptable these days, where we should be looking at around 8 hours of juice. Expect the iiView M1Touch to roll out later this May.
