Epson just released a couple of consumer-oriented flatbed scanners called V33 ($90) and V330 ($120). On the hardware side, they look very much like the existing V30 and V330 scanners. The difference is that they come with a bundle of software that include ArcSoft Scan and Stich Deluxe – both of which add about $10 to the scanner price, but would cost $40 if acquired separately. Both models work on Mac and PC and feature ample maximum resolution and LED lights (no warm-up needed).
