It looks like Dell has done AMD good with their latest Inspiron M301z which will be powered by AMD’s recently announced Nile-class of processors, starting with a price point of $999 while boasting a 1.3GHz dual-core Athlon II Neo K325 processor (with the option to bump that up to 1.5GHz Neo K625 for the right price), up to 4GB RAM, a 320GB hard drive, ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4225 integrated graphics, a glossy 13.3-inch WLED display at 1,366×768 pixels, and a 6-cell 44WHr battery that is purportedly good for up to 5 hours, although we will have to put it through its paces to confirm that figure. Looks like your regular, run-of-the-mill notebook for the working man, with a spot of casual gaming thrown into the mix.
