Having a large external hard drive is always a nice thing, but if you don’t have a fast connection to transfer your data to and from the drive, using it is going to be a tedious process. That’s probably why Samsung has officially announced a USB 3.0 version of its STORY range of external hard drives. The new STORY Station 3.0 is now available in capacities of 1TB or 2TB and will feature three energy saving modes: idle, sleep and suspend, allowing you to leave the drive on for extended periods of time without having to worry too much about the power draw. Thanks to the USB 3.0 connection, you’ll be able to enjoy much faster data transfer speeds, providing that your computer also sports a USB 3.0 connection. The STORY Station alsocomes standard with a 3-year warranty.
