Patriot SuperSpeed USB 3.0 adapter cards
Patriot Memory has rolled out a couple of SuperSpeed USB 3.0 adapter cards that come in the form of the PCUSB3PCIE and PCUSB3EXP. The former is an adapter card that targets desktop PCs, throwing in a couple of SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports that are capable of hitting a theoretical data transfer of up to 5Gbps data throughput. As for the PCUSB3EXP, you will also be able to enjoy USB 3.0 connectivity with this, albeit this model caters to notebook users who have a free ExpressCard slot. No idea on pricing, but it is nice to see more and more devices taking up the USB 3.0 mantle to fast forward the future.
