China-hailed Onda has unveiled their latest VX560 portable media player whcih is capable of supporting full HD playback alongside H.264 codec, where you will be able to enjoy all your favorite movies on the go in great detail thanks to a 7″ display at 800 × 480 resolution. Other video formats supported include RM/RMVB, MKV(H.264), AVI, MOV, FLV, MPG, VOB, DAT, and TS video formats, while an HDMI port lets you view full HD movies over a HDTV when connected via an HDMI cable. File transfer is a snap courtesy of USB On The Go support, and you can also take advantage of the relatively large display to use this as a pseudo-ebook reader since it is compatible with TXT, CHM, PDF, HTM, UMD and PDB ebook formats. No idea on pricing or availability, but this is starting to shape up to be a pretty decent device!
