HP’s Compaq 6005 Pro desktop is pretty special since it runs on an AMD processor, featuring a footprint of a piece of paper, making it tiny enough to be hung onto the back of a display. Apart from that, it is the second “truly” green computer from HP as it no longer uses BFRs (bromide flame retardants) and PVC plastics in its manufacturing (the first being the HP Compaq 8000f Elite). Prices start from $599 upwards, where the most basic model is equipped with an AMD Sempron processor, a 160GB hard drive, a DVD burner and a Radeon HD 4200 integrated video card. Of course, if your budget permits, you can always upgrade the processor to to Athlon II as well as Phenom II X2, X3 and X4 processors. No idea on pricing, but expect it to hit the market from April 26th onwards.
