We first looked at the Doxie earlier this year in Las Vegas at CES 2010, and we’re pleased to know that the Doxie scanner is now ready to ship worldwide with a price point of $129, where it is capable of creating crisp, clean scans anywhere you are thanks to its patented scanning technology; while scanning paper and photos straight to Google Docs, Flickr and Evernote amongst others for added convenience. Tipping the scales at a mere 10.9 ounces, the Doxie scanner comes with a Heart Button that makes things dummy-proof – to scan anything, just insert a document and press the Heart Button and you’re good to go! Its shipping version will come with the Doxie Cloud personal document sharing service and sounds from Soundrangers. It is capable of scanning at 600 dpi in color with automatic page detection, and comes with a USB cable, quick start guide, leatherette case, photo scanning sleeves and a pack of six designer skins to get you started.
