DIY Heating and Cooling Jacket
Chris Francklyn, Diana George, Jenna Sobieray and Alex Cossoff – all of them students, have come up with an interesting DIY project – “How to make a Heating and Cooling Jacket”. This jacket is smart enough to check the temperature within the jacket itself, turning on either the heating or cooling elements as required in order to maintain a constant temperature. The LilyPad will function as the brains of the jacket, interpreting temperature data collected from six sensors located all over. Interesting, and it will definitely take more than a weekend to have it sorted out.
