Considering the sheer number of computers that Asus churns out, it isn’t too surprising to have heard before this that Asus will be coming up with its own tablet device. Now word is going around that the upcoming tablet, the Asus Eee Pad, will be going official this June at Computex 2010, and will be launched in Q3 of 2010. While pricing isn’t official yet, it’s expected to be retailing for $479-$510, which would place it squarely against Apple’s iPad. Features of the Eee Pad should include a webcam, Flash support, USB connectivity and will be powered by Google’s Android OS.
