The iPad is a successful device simply because it has been cloned already several times over, but that doesn’t mean the nightmare has stopped with the latest clone being the Airis iTab7. This touchscreen device comes with a 7″ display and seems to occupy no man’s land, perched precariously between a portable media player and a mobile internet device. After all, you get 2GB of internal memory, 512MB RAM and an 800MHz ARM processor with Windows CE as the operating system of choice. Supported video file formats include AVI, RM, RMVB and MKV with HDMI and composite output rounding off the list of features. Out for around 170 Euros (in Europe, where else), it doesn’t look as though it will hit the US market anytime soon.
