We first brought you a whiff of the Sony Vaio M netbook earlier this January, and further confirmed its existence this month. Guess all of that patience has paid off, with Sony having announced its Vaio M netbook officially. This is different from other Vaio series since it falls under the “budget computer” category – a rather peculiar position for Sony, that’s for sure. Well, you will find it to be pretty standard where netbooks are concerned with 1GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, the run-of-the-mill 10.1″ display at 1,024 × 600 resolution. No idea on pricing, but we do know that Tesco in the UK has slapped a £299 price tag on it, virtually making this the cheapest Vaio-branded notebook/netbook to date.
