The news of Nintendo’s upcoming 3DS console is probably still fresh and your mind, but we’ve got a little something extra to add-on to it this afternoon. It seems that the 3D feature on the 3DS might be achieved by using a parallax barrier LCD from Sharp. Such technology would certainly allow users to experience the 3D feel on the console without having to wear a pair of dorky glasses. Word is that the 3DS’s display will be less than 4-inches diagonally, making it similar to that of the DSi. Aside from that, it seems that there will also be 3D control sticks, though it’s unclear if this refers to an analog joystick. Other rumored features of the 3DS include Wi-Fi transfers, better battery life as well as a vibration function. How many of these features will be confirmed in the next few weeks? It’s hard to tell; hopefully we’ll have some cool news regarding this upcoming device soon.
