If you wanted a funky lamp that would put your roommate’s lava lamp to shame, then you’ll want to check out the LED Desk Lamp which offers variable colors. There are a bunch of multicolor LEDs hidden inside the frosted acrylic tube, at the base of the lamp, which is made from a solid block of maple, there are three sliders, allowing you to independently control the red, green and blue tones of the LED, so you can mix the light to create a color and brightness of your liking. It’s currently handmade to order, which is probably the reason why the maker is charging a whopping $225 for this lamp.
