The Viliv S5 is a pretty formidable Mobile Internet Device (MID), and it is hence no surprise to see a clone of it surface in the form of the Inkia MID500n from Shenzen manufacturer Inkia. This model is powered by the Windows XP operating system, where it will be accompanied by specifications which are listed in the extended post. A 2,000mAh battery will power the device, which is pretty pathetic for a machine running a full Windows operating system, resulting in around 2 hours of battery life only. Out in China later this April for around $440 after conversion, we don’t see the possibility of this hitting Stateside anytime soon.
