The Garmin Edge 500 won’t be as bland as before, as it will now come in a couple more colors known as argyle Edge 500 and neutral Edge 500, where both of them will roll out officially this coming mid-May at the Tour of California. This device was released last September for approximately $350, where it will feature ANT+ wireless, the ability to track vital information including speed, distance, time, elevation, and even calories burned. Elevation data from GPS signals isn’t all that accurate, so it is nice to note that the Garmin Edge 500 relies on an barometric altimeter to get the job done instead.
