Dane-Elec’s myDitto home network server aims to make setting up your very own NAS a snap, thanks to USB keys which are used in setting up the drive instead of the standard CD. While the more tech-oriented among you might find it to be a cinch either way, there are still certain segments of the population which would appreciate an even easier method of doing so. The myDitto comes with a couple drive bays, where one of them is populated with a 1TB drive which comes bundled with your purchase. Plug in one of the two included USB keys, and let the software get to work automatically, letting you back up and restore files as required. When available sometime in the near future, the 1TB configuration will set you back by $279.
