Saygus’ VPhone is tipped to be made available via Verizon Wireless, where it comes with a front facing camera which means 2-way video conferencing capability is confirmed. This news might also extend to something better, as both Verizon and Skype have also announced an official partnership which means the Saygus VPhone could very well support Skype video calls as well. Other specifications of the VPhone include a 3.5″ display at 800 x 600 resolution, a 800MHz processor, an integrated FM radio, 512MB RAM, a 5-megapixel camera and the Android 1.6 operating system. Internal memory can be augmented by an SDHC memory card just in case you are going to tote your collection of MP3s on it. You will be able to find your way around with the A-GPS E911 module inside. One thing that still bugs us though – we don’t know how much the VPhone will cost.
