Sanyo has three more new Dual Cameras available for the masses – the VPC-GH2, VPC-CG102, and VPC-CG20, where all of them will boast High Definition 1080 60i (1,920 x 1 080) resolution video as well as the ability to snap photos of up to 14-megapixels in resolution. These new models will be available from March onwards, with the VPC-GH2, VPC-CG102 and VPC-CG20 retailing for $229, $229 and $199, respectively. As for color schemes, the CG102 will come in black, while the GH2 is adorned with a silver coat, followed by the CG20 that has either silver or black as its choices. All data can be stored on an SD, SDHC or SDXC memory card, which theoretically allows you to hold up to 2TB of digital memories on a single card. More on their features in the extended post. [Press Release]
The relatively small size that all three models come in make it easy to stash them away in your pocket or bag, where the GH2 and CG102 are equipped with a new “double-range zoom” that merges both a wide-angle and telephoto zoom for videos, and is fully switchable at the touch of a button to enable a maximum of 12x double-range zoom. As for the CG20, you get a 5x optical zoom lens. All of Sanyo’s Dual Cameras are all thumb-operable that make it a snap for one-handed operation. Social networking butterflies can upload photos and videos that are optimized for instant sharing without having to go through a conversion process, while those who want something better quality can always store it in Full High Definition (MPEG4, AVC/H.264 format).
