Panasonic’s Let’s Note R9 notebook is a high end 10″ model that sports a 1,024 x 768 resolution for its 10.4″ display, powered by an Intel Core i7 processor that might just surprise people who would most probably mistake this for an Atom-powered netbook instead. Heck, even this processor can be overclocked to 2.13GHz using Intel’s Turbo boost technology. Tipping the scales at less than 2.1 pounds, its 3100mAh battery is capable of powering the Panasonic Let’s Note R9 for up to 7.5 hours, although we’re not too sure what kind of settings the R9 runs during testing. Other specifications include 2GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, Wi-Fi connectivity, an SDHC memory card slot and Windows 7 Professional. It will arrive in Japan first, retailing for a pip below $2,000 after conversion.
