HP’s latest puppy, the TouchSmart 600 Quad series has been slapped with a $1,700 entry price which will net you a 23″ touchscreen display that is powered by one of the latest Intel Core i7-720QM quad-core processors, zipping about at 1.6GHz with 6MB of L2 cache. Of course, dig a little deeper by forking out $260 and you will be able to bring home the i7-820QM processor, sporting a 1.73GHz clock speed and 8MB of cache. With a range of Windows 7 operating systems to choose from and hard drive capacities starting from a spacious 750GB upwards, other choices include a DVD burner or Blu-ray combo drive, and a TV tuner. Looks like all-in-one machines are also starting to gain traction among major hardware manufacturers.
