[MWC 2010] Connect One has rolled out its mobile hotspot at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, coming in the form of the Wi-Reach Classic. This competitor to MiFi is full well capable of splitting the signal from a USB 3G modem to up to 10 users (!), as well as support a choice between WiMAX or LTE 4G networks after one installs a firmware update. The cradle is battery-powered and will hold the USB modem, while the other USB port juices up the built-in battery. It is touted to be able to go for up to 5 hours before exhausting its battery reserves, and you can always set its range and number of users for security reasons. Expect the Wi-Reach Classic to retail for $99 a pop.
