[CES 2010] Syndiant is currently showing off a prototype pico projector that throws out images in 1,024 x 600 resolution, coming in a size that can fit into just about any shirt pocket. It was developed in partnership with Hong Kong’s ASTRI R&D labs. There is no mention of its color and brightness levels, but this prototype is a first step in advancing the fledgling pico projector market. Apparently, it relies on Syndiant’s patented VueG8 all-digital smart panel technology that is paving the way towards HD resolution capability in future iterations of pico projectors.
