[CES 2010] The Palm pre plus was announced earlier today, where it will arrive at Verizon Wireless later on the 25th this month for a yet undisclosed price. Too bad it won’t roll out with webOS 1.4, and what’s different about the pre plus would be the removal of its navigation button without much change on its physical design. The inductive TouchStone back is now a standard on the pre plus, while our initial impressions at the Palm showroom pointed towards a more easy-to-use keyboard as the keys seem slightly more responsive than before. Other hardware improvements cannot be seen, with the doubling of RAM to make it faster to flip between all your open applications. Guess the inclusion of TouchStone charging by default is a shrewd marketing move to shift more TouchStone chargers, eh?
