While all the news is about T-Mobile getting Google’s Nexus One phone, let’s not forget that Vodafone will also be getting the phone. A Vodafone spokeswoman has also confirmed that the carrier will be offering the phone in Europe, starting from the UK. Pricing and information haven’t been revealed by Vodafone just yet, but we certainly hope it will be reasonable. The spokeswoman from Vodafone has stated:
“I can confirm that Vodafone is the first operator to partner with Google to offer the Nexus One in Europe, starting soon in the UK, in a few short weeks. No detail on pricing and precise timing has yet been made, but that will come in a few weeks.”
On a side note, it seems that O2 has no plans to stock the Nexus One yet, so this might be a good opportunity for Vodafone.
